Road transport, like any business activity, has an environmental impact; the service TMSA offers in Minorca has an element of risk, contamination, visual pollution and noise, among other annoyances.
UNESCO designated Minorca as a biosphere reserve on 8 October 1993, noting how well it has combined the development of economic activities, the use of resources and the conservation of its heritage and natural surroundings which have kept an exceptional quality and still do today. Minorca is a territory which has been intensively shaped by people, and has very rich traditional rural scenery.
As a result of this, one of our company’s greatest challenges is to encourage an active role with regards to the environment and to reduce the most obvious negative impacts of its activities. The concept of responsible management in our company has evolved in recent years, and we have adopted it as a way of improving the environment and raising social awareness, as well as a means of reducing residues and/or emissions.
That is why the commitment of TMSA is no longer a matter of legislative compliance, but we consider it as an essential point of our business strategy. The Company has obtained, for your regular transport activities, the Certification of Quality Management System UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2008 and Passenger Public Transport Certification UNE-EN 13816: 2003. And Environmental Management System UNE-EN ISO 14001: 2015, Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018 and UNE-ISO 39001: 2013 Management System of the Road Safety for your regular transport activities, regular transportation for special and discretional use.
